To help communities assess their training needs, we have put together some questions you can ask yourselves to determine if training will meet your needs, or if there is some other kind of assistance we can offer.
- Mental Health Domestic Violence Screening and Assessment (under development)
Presentations
Presentations / Workshops (4 hours)
- Overview of Domestic Violence. For case managers, mixed audience of human service providers, or general public.
- Helping Victims of Domestic Violence. For clinicians.
- Safety and Accountability in Therapy with Batterers. For clinicians. May be combined with #2 into one 6½-hour session.
- Developing Domestic Violence Policies and Protocols. For clinicians and administrators. Offered only in combination with #2 and #3.
Technical Assistance
Technical assistance can be provided in a variety of ways including:
- Case consultation; assistance in accessing resources for clients.
- Case conferences.
- Print information for clinicians and clients.
- Developing and critiquing agency policies and protocols.
- Conferences and grand rounds.
